Just curious, I'm wanting to get a good outboard crossover for my components and sub amps when I get them, and was wondering what a good one would be. I was looking at AudioControl stuff, but couldn't decide what would be best for me. Also, if I were to go with Rockford Fosgate Power amps (250.2 and BD1000.1) or MTX Thunder 8000 amps (8302 and 81000), they all have 24dB/octave crossovers. Would these be good enough, or should I still look into outboard crossovers? Thanks for any help.

AudioControl has some in that range, and KEF has a 6 chanel, that is 18/db and 36/db on the subs. The KEF is like $500 though

Chances are very good you will be happy with the on board crossovers on those amps. I would personally get the amps, install them, and if you think you would benefit from an external crossover add one then. Thats what I would do anyhow.
