i have 7.9 cubes with 82 sq inches of port tuned to 34hz...

do u think the sub will perform well with a mtx81000d on each coil? and for now 800 watts?

its not too big for daily driving is it? cuz thats what its being used for

It will work fine, the only problem will be a large peak at 35-40 Hz, which may actually not be a problem, depending on what you like. But for playing it, no, it'll be ok.

as long as it has a large peak and drops below 35hz then im set. the sq should still be there

I personally like a flat response for normal listening, but the peaky response may be what you like. Either way it still has good transient response, it just sounds better with a flat response to me because everything is what I would call "balanced".
