I need some crimps for my 4ga power wire...if they exist...or unless i can just use electrical tape to bind my 2 pieces of 4ga wire...but i that doesnt exactly seem safe...

will do...ill prolly go out to cartoys to see if they have them...which is what i shoulda done in the first place...but i hate driving that far. if not, ill order em off cardomain.

umm soldering?? less resistance than any connector def the most solid connection, get some large diameter heat shrink from your local home depot or lowes strip the wires a good distance back and use a mini torch to solder them. the mini torches seem to work better on larger wire than a regular soldering iron (gets the joint hotter all the way through so it sucks the solder right in) than just slide the heat shrink over the joint and use the torch to heat it from an appropriate distance. much cheaper than a stupid connector, better electrical conductivity, much more attractive

Home Depot has one for I think $5 or $6. IIRC you put an end of your cable in each end of this and I think there is a set screw for each side. It comes with a fat tube of heat-shrink.
