I put the 2 RE MT 15s in my 2000 four door blazer, on my two Colossus amps. Needless to say it freaking slammed. However this is twice now I have blown the dustcaps off(an understandable problem due to no pole vent). Anyways this was in a 5.5cft box with 4 4"aeros 17"long below the window line. I have 2 DD3515s and have had 1 colossus amp on them. They take it like a champ. So I considered buying 2 more 3515s and having four 15s on two colossus amps. Would you not think this would be louder OVERALL on a broader range than the two mts? I want it below the window so 4 DDs in maybe 10cft. Sounds small but the two 3515s sound fine in 5 cft. Sorry so long but this is a huge decision for me, and I need your experience if you dont mind. Thanks so much in advance guys!!! I would like to continue using aero ports so I can change tuning a lil easier. So tuning will be around 35hz daily, and 45-50 comps.

SBLAZER which system do u mean? The Two MTs and Two Colossus amps? Becuase the 4 DD3515s hasnt been built, I am just looking for opinions. And I can squeeze it in and still have my back seat [Big Grin] I put 8 12s behind the backseat of a 4 door blazer no wall if u want to see that let me know!

Man this is the exact cross roads I was last 1 yr ago and I made the wrong choice.....Unless you plan on getting 2 more Colossus amps the 4 subs with 2 amps will not be louder than the 2 subs you have now with an amp on each sub......I'm about to make another big decision and that's change back to 2 18's and grab a 2nd MM4000 or get 4 MM 4000's for my 4 15's.......Just my .02 worth, but I know what you're going through man...

Yeah but as far as two more amps go. The 3515s are not gonna take a Colossus amp per sub all day long. 9515s no problem, but not the 3515s, I know all the same soft parts, but the 9500 has better cooling. Still havent decided what im going to do

Man, you can always turn the gains down on the amps, turn down the sub volume on your deck, and turn down the bass on your head unit as well...
Or.......Any way you can trade in the 2 3515's you have and get 2 9515's or 2 9917's? Other than that four 3515's with 2 Colossus amps will sound better and bump better for daily but may not necessarily be louder for SPL......Good luck man and let me know if you need any other input...

I can never sell the DD3515s I have. My best friend Chase Davis had four of them in an explorer. 2 were stolen and he sold the other two. After he sold the other 2 that guy came up to me about six months later and i bought them for $200pair, just to have u know I mean thats cheap. A few months after I bought them Chase was riding his Suzuki 1100(i think it was brand new 05 model) and lost control at over 100mph and it killed him. They are priceless. Saw his mom and sister at the funeral, and they of course knew we were like brothers. They told me to keep those systems beatin cause thats what he would always want. So I promised them that every system I built would be in his memory. Anyways, I can sell my MT's and have considered going to 9500s simply because they cool better. I would love to step up to the beasts. Just would be cool to have four DD3500s like he did beating like hell in his memory, but he wouldnt care what it is, so long as it wangs! Thanks for all your posts guys. I love this forum period! Happy Thanksgiving [Smile]
