Topic: How do I remove tweeters from plastic mount
I am trying to remove a set of tweeters and am having a hard time doing it, looks like they are just being held in there by hot glue, I tried to heat it up with the tip of another hot glue gun, I tried to use a razor and peel it away, what can I do to get these things out?

If the tweeter is defective, and warranty is not an issue...use a hammer...a big one, so that you only need one swing...

if these are the factory ones off of our gm's NBS suv's than the tweeters are built into the plastic mount break the tweeter off and start cutting it open.....

hey mike, if this is your tahoe, just leave it for me, I will take care of it, when I do the install, and add the new tweeters up there!
