Do you put it on the inside of the plastic panels in your car or just on metal surfaces?
I figure this will be helpful to people just starting to deaden their car.

Well I have used it on plastics with very good results!Helped alot in the newer cars with plastic liners in the trunk area!

I do for sure.
But only liquids. I just don't trust mat on a surface like that.
