I have a simple system in mind. Something like 4 12" Pyramid subs or something and some cheap amps. I want to build a high class looking system and with low cost. Everything will be done in nice looking fiberglass. Let me know the feedback.

fiberglass and pyramid should not be put together. lol, your going to probably spend a lot more money on the fiberglass materials then the subs. but lanzar has some decent subs cheap. you can always find some cheap subs, just dont do pyramids or boss, or plye

I knew someone was gonna say just what you did. I was gonna reply a few hours ago but i held back.

Seriously, if you wanna do something nice, use something like Digital Designs 1012a's ($140ish persub but worth it) and get a Hifonics 1200 watt amp. Thats quality and fiarly cheap. Pyramid subs wouldnt sound that great and youd be dissapointed in overall sound. If DD is too much, look at the Kicker Comp subs, there like $65-$70 per sub on ebay. Just some thoughts. What I think would be cool, using old school Kicker L7's from the late 90's and some old school Orion 250R's.

I would reccomend using quality subs over quantity. Maybe some used L510's?

I'm guessing he is going to spend the money on the install, not have much left over, so buy cheap equipment till he has enough to change it.
I myself am in the same spot, want a nice install but don't have 1000$+ for equipment.

I have money to buy expensive equipment but the thing is I dont want too? I dropped the idea about the cheaper subs. I found some Massive subs at etronics.com for like $30 or so. So I think I might try and squeeze in 6 10"s in the backseat somewere. I just didnt want to buy subs that cost a ton of money like everyone else in my town. Im not against it I dont want to do it. Maybe in another car I will go all out but dunno. Thanks for the feedback both negative and positive. THanks

Why go with 6 cheap woofers if you can use the same money to buy one great woofer?

I can see if this is going to be for show/demo/omfg factor, but if its just for your listening you'd be better off buy better subs, but fewer of them.
