nope.....all the fiberglass work / trim i did a few weeks back is gettin' wrapped up. As usual, when this thing leaves my garage, all work seems to stop. I wish other people i have doing specialty stuff for me and this project would care about getting it done the same way i do. When i got it, its damn near non stop, when other people have it.......its just stop.
Ill update that post when i have somethin worthy of an update. BTW were looking at superchargers for it so just like everything else that is holding the finish back.....were adding more work. Its ok, a polished Whipple Supercharger oughta be somethin dope under the hood, even if we dont plan on doing any racing with it
Anyway, it doesnt have to be Whipple.....i have the $$$ to handle this already, if someone wants to spit a few REPUTABLE brand SC'ers my way and maybe a link or two then im all ears.

not tryin to race, remember its got almost 1,000lbs of equipment in the back and its sitting on 26's. A nice supercharger will do just fine. That is pretty nice stuff there though

Prochargers seem to be a good bet. The kits are expensive, but they include EVERYTHING you need. Upgraded fuel pumps that kind of stuff...

I would never put anything but a Magnuson in any car I actually intended to drive. They are pretty much the only SC that will daily drive without falling apart after a couple of years. Lingenfelter (RIP) used them for his SC built cars and loved them. Anything he designed will be bulletproof.

you obviously dont know what your talking about.. look at most of the really fast drag cars.. alot of them are running monster turbos..
most of the fast drag cars have their own engineers for those turbos. find some cars that are still cars with turbos and v8 like a car that comes with a v8 there are not very many.
i didnt know a eskie is a drag car and most dragsters non street cars with v8s use turbos but u can get a mustang standing where the fronts are 3 feet off the ground just fine with a supercharger aka blower

actually Turbos are more efficient than superchargers and can produce higher hp numbers... Ive turboed 3 of my cars already 1 lt1 and 2 ls1's. Turbos are becoming alot more popular for street applications than superchargers are.

this is true chargers take a bit of hp to make power but no matter how you slice it your gonna get cooler air from a supercharger. that and there is no turbo lag so you get the power now. i guess it depends on the application.

The fastest cars in the world (funny cars, top fuel dragsters) all use superchargers.
I don't think turbos will EVER replace superchargers in those applications. You see how big the turbos are for cars that run 6-7 second 1/4 miles, imagine how big they'd have to be to run 4's.

That thats why the Gale Banks Firebird had a TURBOcharged V8 and hit 283 mph?
1987 Running on nothing but straight gasoline, this Banks twin-turbocharged Firebird scorches the Salt at 287 mph to become the new World's Fastest Passenger Car. Despite dozens of challenges, Banks 'Bird held the title for 10 years.

If you have alot of weight, a supercharger will better fit the application. That way you get the power right away to move the beast. Turbos take air to push them, so no power till you get a little bit of speed up. Supers are belt driven, power right away, but they use more gas. He said he didn't want to race, so a turbo would be **** useless for him. Go for a nice big super, don't even think about a turbo

If the turbo is properly sized you can start making boost as low as 1500 rpm and the turbo won't be spinning too fast at the top of the vechicles operating range. Because you have to have airflow and velocity, when you don't have enough velocity you have turbo lag.
Besides Semis = really heavy! and lots use turbochargers.
