Ok here is the deal, i want to put my system in my 4 door elantra and i wanted to know if i would still be in the street class if i put the system were the back seat. Would this keep me in the street class if the box is not higher than the windows?

The rear seat must remain fully functional, to be allowed in the street class. Since the 2002 rules are not final, my words are not "written in stone". I would assume that the previous years rules, pertaining to audio equipment being placed on the rear seats, or the rule pertaining to leaving the interior in stock condition will not change. If you do remove the rear seat, and place the enclosure in its place...either be ready to step up to Super Street (current name for class) or be able to change it back to original configuration if need be.
