the gain on my amp is down like to half or just a lil under and the HU doesnt have loud or boost on and the bass isnt all the way up. now if it clipped with all bass frequenceis then it might be different but it only clips with the lower frq's

outlaw score 168.3 24 hz

anyway
just play with the gain and the bass controls on you hu
if that doesnt help u may also wanna see what resistance load your subs are giving your amp it may be too low
good luck

what makes you believe its clipping?

perhaps you mean your speakers are bottoming out or distorting?

no there not bottoming out. and i can tell ive checked with my o-scope and its only with the lower bass. ive messed with all kinds of settings. and have come up with this. its not the amp,and its not the subs.so it must be the HU. and my amp is 3 ohm stable in mono and its wired to 3.77 according to my dmm
