My system Pioneer Super Tuner 3 Head Unit 150 watt Pyramyd powering 2 5 1/4 crunch co-axles in the door 200 watt Kenwood KA-606 powering 2 lanzar 6x9's and 2 2 way lanzar 6x9's 200 watt PSTkenwood powering either 2 RockFord Fosgate Punch xlc's or 1 or 2(if i buy one more) MTX Blue thunder ledgend silver series. Ive talked to a guy in the area that has won the speaker box builder of the year award several times(Spencer BoAze) i think thats how u spell it. He claims to be able to take the one mtx and build an box for it that would be louder clearer and hit harder than a box he could build for the 2 XLC's. I just dont see it, one yes but 2?? He thinks i should sell my fosgate speakers that i just bought and get one more blue and have him build a box for them. What do the other pros think?

The XLC's are a great and often underestimated driver. I'd go with them. I bet Dukk would give you dimensions for box on those subs if you asked nice too. hehe

Thats what I had kinda figured, when i bought the mtx from circuit city i had a cheap tape deck and it wasnt hooked up corectly but none the less it hit hard, and instantly i built a 4th order simulated band pass(thunder box at circuit city) and put it in there and it hit hard but being not hooked up corectly the distortion got to the speaker and blew it, i need to go back and returm it, and get a new one or my money back. when i hooked up my fosgate up corectly in my metro i instantly put it in the thunder box and that is where it is right now. it hits real hard but not much harder than the mtx was in my other vehicle. none the less the mtx didnt hurt my ears and the fosgate does. i dont know how many spl i will be at when ive got it all installed but i should be carefull. oh yeah are there any teams i can join with my current system?
