WHAT KIND OF SPEAKER SHOULD BE USED TO FIND OUT THE RES. FREQ. OF THE CAR ? I HAVE REFERENCE MONITORS TANNOYS BUT I DONT THINK THEY GO THAT LOW AND THEY ARE BUILT FOR PRO APPS.

Never done it myself, but you could use any woofer with a reasonable amount of power. Run some sweeps at a moderate volume while metering. If the spl suddenly peaks at a certain frequency, then there is your resonant frequency. This is a very tricky issue though. This suggestion is only for people that already have an installed system and are just looking for "their note". If you are designing a system to hit at a certain note, then you have to take into account that after you install a wall and such, the cabin volume has changed and your note will not be the same as when you had an empty vehicle.

When I did mine I put one of my 12"s in a sealed box approximatly where my wall is then used cardboard to seal off the area around the single 12", played some test tones and voila! 51 hz.
