I had a guy talking to me the other day about wanting to put 3 12" aluminum Eclipse subs in his Geo Storm. There was no easy way to do this due to mounting area. He wanted to build a nice square box. I then figured up a box on Termpro for eight RF DVC 8" subs. it would work with the mounting area and everything!!! Any ideas on whether it would be worth doing?

Eights can go low, I auditioned a couple before I went with my 12". Only thing is, if he plans on competing, he will be in the class with those guys with 8 18's like tech. Just make sure he understands that he may not win alot (unless it's done very very good). These are my words of wisdom for the day, I can rest now.

My RF rep had eight Punch 8s in a 12cuft ABC enclosure in his Astro with around 600 watts total. It went frickin' low and loud!! Used to pull upper mid 140s. He actually lost performance going to 6 sealed 15s. (another case where sealed blo's)
