i just got done building my box for 3 RF 1815s,(last years Punch subs)i built it to RF specs of 2.5cf each sealed .I'm running them 2.66ohm mono on a RF 225.2.
Here's the problem,at freqs below about 40hz
they go to a dead short, zero ohms, the amp is fine, running cool and not going into protection.
Did i build the boxes to big?
Thanks for any help

This is just a guess but since it is happening at a low frequency I would tend to think the voice coil is rubbing somewhere and shorting out. The low frequencies make the speaker move moreso this might be why you don't see the problem at high frequencies.
Does this happen at low volumes or just high volume?
