First off I have a regular cab s-10 with a fiberglass tonneau cover. The thing that I want to do is cram as many subs as I can in the bed. I'm pretty confident in my cutting and fabrication skills but I can't deside on what size sub to run, and what kind of enclosure to use. My boss said to run 10inch power dvc's in a bandpass box ported into the cab. Is the bandpass the way to go or should I do a complete blow through? Any advice would be great.

I would say go with the cut out of the cab wall and avoid the bandpass idea. I have not had good luck with the RF's in that stlye of box. As for the size that is up to you, I have seen many set up with 12's.

I am cutting my '85 chev 4x4 cab to cram some serious goods into it... I have seen 4 RF punch DVC 8"s in a standard cab S-10, and they sounded really sweet, even though the were in a sealed box... 3 10"s would also probably fit in it... I think?!? It would be tight, but it might fit...

CA&E had an article a couple years back about a dude with a fire-engine red chevy 2-10 with an enclosure in the extended cab and a huge enclosure in the bed that ran separately or in conjuction with the inside subs. The subs in the bed (enclosure) could slide out of the bed too. It was a massive undertaking, but looked cool!!!

I believe that the largest practical would be 12s. With 15s, they would have to lay down some and this makes too many angles. I would also limit myself to 6 12s maximum. With this you can avoid making too much free space in the front of the 'box' and also avoid an overly difficult enclosure design.
A note on cab cuts. Avoid one big hole, do two and leave a web of metal at least 3" wide in the middle. I've seen guys cut the whole thing out and be left with no support for the back window, leaving it flapping in the wind!

Actually Dukk I just did this with that Ranger extended cab as long as you make the box fit tight as crap (we had to force ours through Belt the dash don't use the dash to braceyourself when pushing I got it fixed now though)and use a couple of pieces of angle Iron to bolt the box to the body below the window it can be done fairly well. We got 4 MTX 12's across the bacl and he can still use the back seats barely but if he had to he probably could. Looks totally sweet too.
