Ive heard alot of this, and from what I understand it goes inbetween your head unit and amp and increases the volts form the head unit.. right? if thats right can someone tell be where I can find one "whos makes them" and around how much they cost. Thanks

Line drivers do indeed go inline between your head unit and the first piece of whatever in the trunk. If your using a high voltage pre-outs (4v or more), a line driver will not be necessary. Crystal-Line by Anamir used to be the line driver of choice. Audio Control has line-drivers in some of they're eq's, I'm sure you'll be able to find one somewhere. Remember also that with a line driver, you not only amplify signal, but you could amplify whatever noise your head unit makes.
