Try calling his shop. Justin posted it on CACO in his Memphis 4kw for sale thread.

Shop number is 256-764-4111 open 9-6 CST M-F and 10-4 on Saturday.

The sub design is just 12 cubes and started with 180 sq inches of port for 2 18s. Ended up making the port smaller and deeper I guess its under 100 sq inches now?

He's running 2 DP 18s and 2 Memphis 4000ds, does like a 153ish on the dash sealed up and plays any frequency, it was a fun build [Smile]

His rear window was rattling HORRIBLY had to fix that, he even had a crease come up in his sheet metal in front of the rear tire it was so loud and so low lol. We had to take the wheel off and cut a hole to get in between the panels and sound deaden in there hehe

yep 6 cubes per sub with port in the middle.

We started with ~180 sq inches and couldn't get the low end that Steve was looking for so we kept retuning.

What is it tuned At...?

And How is the Box secured Into the Bed..? Is it bolted down..?

And Why does the Port stick out past the Woofer's..?

And why are the woofers rescessd into the Box.. like they have like a box built around the subs...

And the bracing inside are those just wooden dowels Behind the subs or are those althread's with like leather wrapped PVC's..?

Ide like as much info as i can get on this enclosure.. sorry for all the questions..

box is secured through the all thread braces to the bed and bolted under the bottom

port sticks out past the subs because he was taking up too much air space to get the tuning low enough

subs aren't recessed, but there is a trim panel that covers up everything and kind of hugs the outside edges of the subs

the braces are allthread with pvc and they are wrapped in ostrich vinyl

and I honestly don't know the exact tuning...i don't think Steve does either lol. It was built and just played with until he got it where he wanted.

I'd guess the low 30s though, peaks in the low 40s I believe

he runs 5 or 6 powermaster 2700s with 2 powermaster 200 amp alternators along with the factory alt

It does like a mid 53 playing music, and its VERY clean

And the batteries are mounted under the truck, we made a bracket and dropped the spare tire bracket and the battery rack bolts to the spare tire mounts
