ive got a sealed box with 4 15 inch jbl gto dvc. they call for 1.50 sq ft. but the box has 3.0 sq ft. is this to much? will hit hurt them

3cf per 15" should be fine.

hey i got a question. ive got a sealed box with 3cf per sub with 4 15s. its just a everyday driver. but i want it loud. should i get a ported box? i want it to be loud inside and hear me coming down the road!! what would you do?

a ported box will be louder, but will need closer to 4-6cf per sub

d-bass. ive got a nissan pickup with a snug top. its a walk thru. would you face the box up or make a wall behind me? im new at this.

ok say i build a wall with bout 4.5cf. what size ports would you put in it. ive never done the port thing

check out RE Audio's box calculator to get a basic idea. just figure you want the box to tune about 5Hz below where you want your peak note

oh sorry you lost me !!!! i dont know none of this stuff. id like to build a ported wall behind me.but i dont understand all this port stuff.
