I am new to this forum but am on several others, just figured I would see what you guys suggest for a new build. Currently my setup is a 15" T3 TSNS in a 4runner that is doing 149.8 in SS 1-2 on stock alt and electrical with a clamped 2600wrms, 4ohms on a DD Z2lv. This setup was just for testing as I have been conducting a 15" challenge test.

Now that I have completed that I would like to move on to a more competitive setup this season. I have considered a Street vehicle but I enjoy listening to my music all day long and bassracing competitively as well. Which has lead me into SSNW class. The issue is what to run now that it is no longer SS NW 1-2. Listed in my sig is the current equipment I have in in the garage along with 4 or 5 6" PSPs Aeros.

My max dimensions are H 19", W 40", L 30"
This ends up giving me a solid 11cubes to work with before sub and port displacement. My initial plans are to run 2 15"s. Either recone my Lvl 5's, get another TSNS, or get another HW V3.

Another option would be to choke 4 12s or 6 10s in to the space available but I believe that with the space I have 2 15"s would be the best bet.

I would appreciate any constructive critism towards my build, any ideas of what to/not to do.
I guess my goal this year would be 153s, seeing that I have been touching mid 151s(38hz) with a single 15 just above windowline. Thanks

The amp clamped last week at 4.1ohms after rise, at 2600wrms. I am on stock alt, single battery for the time being. Again I have a Mechman alt, just waiting on a new belt to put it in.

Not really sure how you'd expect a 152 out of a box not made for the specific sub, just a test box, and stock electrical, I was more or less looking for advice. Maybe im on the wrong forum?

sub up or forward. 4.43cf TOTAL. 16.375" wide, 29" long(front-back).custom part internal 7.7" aeroport going towards the drivers side. longest length you can fit with 4.5" from driver's sidewall.
That should get you into the 151-152.5 range with good clean power under 3kW.
I would inset the port 2" into the box. but a smooth flow to the custom "aero"

In a 4 runner you should have no problem reaching the 153-155 range. I would use a pair of 15's in 7-8 cubes with aero ports.

So people agree that 2 15"s with subs up port back will be the best way to go? I would like to get started on this in the next week or so, so your help is greatly appreciated

Get another TSNS 15 and run them in a 8ft3 box and run them subs up and port back. Should get plenty loud if you run your amp at it full potential. If it's not where ou want it build another enclosure till you get it right where you want it.

There is no longer a SSNW 1-2 class. now there is no limit on subs.

this might be of some help to you as I am running SSNW as well. This shows the first build and the rebuild for this class. I was able to do a 154.6 with two subs @ 40hz!! so far from everything I have seen in SSNW you realy only have two choices if you want to be competive in this class? ( IMO only) that would be subs and port forward or subs forward port back. I hope that my build log will help you just keep in mind that this is a 6th order box and I am far from getting it dialed in. Good luck to you and hope to see you in the lanes.

P.S. World record in this class is a 163.4 I belive.
