okay... if im going to run 4 eights... i think it might be overkill for daily driving... so how would i go about switching two or three off at a time... with some kind of toggle switch, ive thought about it.. but the thing is, ill be running one two channel amp bridged.... so i dunno if theres a way i can do it or not... heeelllp
or just to have 2 playing, pull up next to someone.. see them smirk, then crank the others on... heheh watch them jump like basturds
heheh

4 8s won't exactly turn you into jello on a regular basis...
Why not use a deck with a variable sub out to tame them down??
It would be easy to add the relays to do what you want, but simpler to find another way.

Actually here's a tip....
Set your sub output control quite low (like into the negatives on a Pioneer) and set your gains to give you your perfect SQ bass at that point (SQ systems typically are quite weak on the woof in my opinion).
This gives you more boost to play with on heads that don't have a lot of gain in the sub volume...
