i have a 2002 gmc safari van with a flip down tv. but once they switch over to digital or hdtv the tuner will no longer work. does anyone know of a converter for it?

you could try a power inverter then just use a regular converter box

no, and I don't think anyone is going to. You won't get good results. The signal will be going in and out so frequently that no one would want it.
There is something coming available this year. You know how some people pick up local television stations on their cellphones? Same technology is being used for mobile video. Different encoding, and broadcast through a different style of transmission that a local station can broadcast off their digital antenna/candelabra.
Audiovox released some flip-down models with this technology built-in at CES

i guess i'll have to buy a dvd player for it. it came with a vcr but who still uses those lol

does the screen has RCA inputs?
A dvd player should only cost 100-150bucks
