Hey guys hows it goin.

Well lucky me i just had my truck broke into, so its time to build a whole new system.

So the vehical im working with is a 1998 chev s10 extended cab. what i had in the truck was a TEAM RF ROCKFORD FOSGATE TRF2212 powered by a ROCKFORD FOSGATE T20001BD. and had TSUNAMI PP1010DM-CAP 10 FARAD. which was all stolen.

with this i still have 0 guage running from my battery to back seat. and i have the high output alternator.

What im looking for now is just some opinions on what you guys would feel would be a good system for me to get back into, I am mainly gearing towards SPL. What would be some high spl subs in an average price range i would be liking to spend around 2 -3 grand tops, obviously not paying normal retail prices, my previous stereo i bought entirely off of ebay.

As well i am located in Canada

Well not sure what else to write at this time so Tell me what you guys all think any help would be appreciated.

i have been kinda looking at hifonics but have not really been able to find a lot of info "reviews" on them.

Well I hate to be the one but "did you have an alram"? and if so did it have a radar sensor? I have a radar sensor on every alarm Iv'e had on every vehicle and after several attemps not one time has a thief been successful, DEI makes several models of alarm that can use a add-on module radar sensor and there pretty cheap!

With that said Hifonics is a great and cheap way to go for both daily setup and SPL. I currently am finishing my first SPL/DB Drag set up in over ten years. I am running 4 brutus amps on four 15"s I have hooked up one of the buruts amps and I was very impressed so far. I got my amp for 420.00 USD total.

As for the subs there are so many I couldnt tell ya, I went with BTLs but they were 440 USD each so that may be to pricey, I talked to Randy @ atomic and thay have some good stuff for cheap. If you are close to detroit Gibralter trade center either in MT.Clemons or the one in Wayne has 4 or 5 car audio dealers and they will beat ebay pricing and they carry alot of good stuff.

Mmm nice combination of amps and sub should work well for spl, but I think you should install the alarm first lol.
