Ive got some old school exquipment IE an HCCA 225 and ill get the subs when i need to, but im planning on either eight Memphis Mclass 8"s.
Also may have access to an old Precision Power amp.
Anyhow Ill get on with it. I just bought a new 2008 Pontiac G5 (cobalt lol) and I dont want to tear it up, yeah ive got a couple tens in it but no i dont want to do any mods to it just yet, it still has the new car smell.

My father has an old 86 chevette that needs a windshield and a radiator. It does run and runs good other than the said issues.
I want to mod this beast. There are some oldschool guys in town that will help me as they used an old Fiat and put 16 12"S in it back in the early 90s.

Point being, I want either 8 8"s or 4-6 tens in this lady-stealer and I dont know where to start.

Some friends and I were talking about doing this to a cavalier, I never thought about doing it to the old chevette, Im wanting to go for innovative and wow factor. Something that is going to make people plug their ears and compliment me on what has never been done (rare to see). I want to be able to use it for SPL and be able to knock it down to two subs and enjoy the music too. (that part is no prob, but again im looking for atleast four subs and something new)
I can get ahold of 8 8" memphis', opinions on using them for a great project?

Also how safe is series-parallel wiring?
like how many times can i do this before its taxing the amp to no return?
Four on one channel of the HCCA i know is not even starting
