Hi all,

I have a 2006 Mustang I need to hook up. I want to go with 2 12" subwoofers (I think) and I was thinking about Orion, because I have fond memories of them from the olden days. I'm not a car audio expert though, so I really need advice, I've heard Kicker, JBL, Rockford are all good and possibly better then Orion. I have a stock car audio system and I have maybe $1250.00 to spend.

Oh the deck is upgraded, with satellite/mp3 player, so I was thinking about using that to push the mids and tweeters or would I be better off with a new deck too?

I guess I am looking for advice on what would be the best way to go... I will probably put the subwoofers in the back trunk and mids/tweeters inside the car...

mainly i will be playing rock/heavy metal (ocassional rap) etc. and I want it to be loud and as clear as possible and preferably shake the ground. I won't be doing any competitions or anything like that, just for personal enjoyment.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

i've got a great design for 2 12"s in a mustang trunk...if you are willing to give up the entire trunk, it's awesome.

Would love to see it. Not sure about giving up the whole trunk, but if it was awesome, I think I might consider it

it was two JL 12w6's, on a single 1000/1. It was very musical, and I'm sure it still hit 147ish, comparing it to my mazda. it had the lows and the highs. I was impressed.
