what i meant by no wall is a box that goes from one side of my truck to the other and 3" from window line. i was wondering if anyone has ever built that kind of box and if there was enough room to do 3 15s ported if not would it be better to do 2 15s ported or 3 15s sealed.

I doubt there is any way in hell that you can fit 15s in a regular cab S10 the only way I see possable to make them fit would be a cut through

what year s-10 and what 15s?

I know you can space the seat up and get a lot more room behind the seat if you need it.

possable but next to no air space for the subs to work in.I have a reg cab F-150 and all I could do was two DD9912`s ported for the street.
Find you air space and fill it will the subs you can in a proper box size.

you know if you only have 4 cubes you could just do two ported 12's and come out a lot better! sometimes bigger isn't always better?

well I lent him 2 of my crossfire p1 15s.

He build a box that comes out to be around 4 cubes, he did a small port firing to the driver side that was loudest when we pushed it all the way up against the driver side wall.

Had an SPL POS amp on it, rated like 1300 watts at 2 ohm, and only has 1 battery and factory alt.

Got it doing right at a 139 on the dash legal and a 142 on the dash with the door open. Didn't meter it outlaw

Really not bad for no more power then he has, he also just has an 8 gauge ground on the amp lol.

I'm gonna keep helping him out I think I can get it to do a 45 with a diff box and some time invested in tuning.

I'm thinking 1 badass 15 ported might be the way to go though.

Just a FYI...it started out under a 37 when I first started playing with [Smile]

Made me remember how fun it was to do small changes to a street setup and watch the numbers jump

Pioneer makes some good componet plates.

Or you could go with basic cheap scosche/entry memphis/crossfire 4x6s and they would probobly sound just fine.
