Howdy yall, Its been a hot minute since Ive been around here...
Well anyways. I am looking to do a budget install in my 300 and I am looking to take advantage of the factory subwoofer location in the rear deck to mount my old SVC RE 8 in. I have no experience with installing subs with an infinite baffle like this so any pointers are greatly appreciated.

well if it's "infitite baffle", or as infinite as you can get in a trunk.....then all you have to do is mount it, hook up wires, and you're done.

I understand that much but Ive always been under the impression that the power handling decreases in this scenario. I don't have access to any of the old TS for these speakers and I am not sure if they match the current ones or not.

you're definitely going to lose power handling since you have no acoustic suspension to control the cone. call RE for old specs maybe
