Topic: Ultimate Bass Racer Design....
Hi Guys, If you were to build the ultimate bass racer how would you build the system? (to fit inside an SUV) I don't mean the exact kit you would use, just the isntalation type etc. I.e. Flat ported wall / Clam Shell etc What tuning would you aim for? Would you use lots of 10's, less 12's, a few 15's or fewer 18s? Obviously lots of power supply and adequate amps goes without saying....

my old setup was 3 9917s and 6 incriminator audio 20.1s, would bass race a mid 55 with 2 batteries also. its the only pic I have of the "loud" port really. And I was only getting around 1800 watts per woofer --------------------

around 1500w rms per woofer. The subs only have a 2.5'' coil and are rated 500w rms so i'm sure i'm reaching compression pretty quickly. Once the coil gets saturated its all heat anyway --------------------
