im looking for ideas on an enclosure for 2 MT 15" in my dodge ramcharger....
drop me a line! all ideas welcome.. walls,bandpass, sealed, etc.

no sealed box for mt's definately go ported

u lookin for SPL or street bass what class are u planning on competing in if you are so i can suggest the best one for your situation

going for some serious street spl.. not really looking to compete though.. i might do a few local shows but i know i cant run with yu big boys in the circuit....
sound quality is not realy a concern. iwant the most output from those subs i can get..looking for at LEAST a 151... not on thenew term lab though.. i hear thoseare tough meters!! and i stress i have LOTS ofroom in my dodge f a huge ecosure if needed..

you dont wanna compete...but your aiming for a 151? on the audiocontrol? thats not gonna be hard...

do about 2.5-3 cubes after displacement per sub

heck some 15 done even perform good in that small enclouser, for ridiculos output id do 6-8 cubes per sub with proper power a 151 wont be hard on audiocontrol meter, with 2 fifteens and a small amp i was donin very high 140

thanks guys!! the man im talkin to now said he had them in a 40 cube box and was doing a 152 or somthing but, i dont expect to get exact designs, or have anyone give up their secrets!!
how would i face them?? backwards toward the hatch?? and ports too? thanks again guys!!!

your right thanks adam, so audio control would be mid 150's on audiocontrol not hard heck we had two RE se 15's in a premade box with an 1100 watt amp donin 46's on termlab, so audio control it would maybe be a 50 so yea you see it isnt hard with basically premade boxes really. as to directing the sub/port i would do sub up port back, but when we did 46's it was sub back port back

Do subs up port back, that should work well in your SUV.

I got mine subs up and port up cause I don't have the room.

cool cool. thats howi had my armageddn running was sub up and ports back to the hatch... note the face of the box where the sub was ,, was at a 30 degree angletowards the back window.. so in theroy it too was kind of firing at the window..... so to speak.. you guys are the BEST help.. thaks guys, ALL OF YOU!!!!! i know its a pain to give out info sometimes, but i do appreciate it!!! [Smile]

Do you have the MT's Yet? Reason I am asking is I noticed you had some armegeddons. Didn't know if you knew it or not but the new Armegeddon are MT's!! Same Price Same everything made in same place Logo is the only difference!

if they are 18s i would recommend 4-6 cubes per sub ported. if they are 15s 3-5 cubes ported.
