I have been in the process of seting up my W7's in IB. I used to have 1 in that type of set-up,and it had some nice low end bass extension, but didn't have that extra kick I was looking for, soon after installing another one, my BASS became fuller sounding, and the bass got even deeper: I was still having a few problems that wheren't performance related, although my sub's where getting enough juice to them, I was still desperatly lacking some upper mid-bass kick, because my rear seats do not fold down, I was losing alot of bass from the rear seats, I finnaly decided to remove a 2X2 FT baffle board that was installed directly behind the rear seat fold down arm~rest. This would allow more bass to enter the cabin.

After removing it I noticed a huge improvement in my over-all bass response inside the cabin of the car, there was improved dynamic impact and clarity, bass went from sounding punchy and diluted to, jack-hammer type of impact.

Most of the increased bass was in the upper-70HZ-100HZ range, but it now complements the front mid-bass components and blends in smoothly with the front stage.

I highly suggest to anyone trying to improve their bass response to allow some air to funnel into the cabin from in front of the woofers, this helps keep the subs from cancelling out behind the rear seats resulting in severly diluted bass output-response.
