I really would like to get into dB drags. Ive been reserching for the perfect sub(s) with the perfect amp and box for a long time and i cant really make a decision. Since some of you are professionals and have been around car audio for a long time i thought you would know best. I have around $2,500 to spend. I drive a 95 4-door accord, with upgrade big 3 to 1/0 wires, and a 200amp alt. So what i want you to tell me what i should buy, give me the subs, amp, box tuned to whatever, wiring exc. Thanks for the help. Want something that can hit 145-150dB's

I suggest first buying a termlab usb system for around 600 on termpro. This is the biggest factor in competing in my opinion. Now to be competitive it can get pretty pricey. Lets say you chose street B. you need 2-4 amps and 2 12s/ one 15. You could pick up something like 2 lanzar opti 2000d's for 650 shipped refurb from the factory, or maybe a used colossus 2 from the marketplace. Then you could get 2 RE MT 12 for 750 used, or 2 T3 tsns 12s somewhere around there. So you are up to $2000. Now you need 2 sheets of mdf and another 200 feet of 1/0 wire/ terminals. You'll need a nice cd player that will not skip when you burp. Or you could use a cd changer. Not sure what all you have though. And as for the 145-150 Thats the fun part the testing and building and working and getting pissed off and kicking your car and whatever you do to get that thing loud. The equipment really will only matter to a point its all going to be in the box and setup and testing.
