Has anyone seen this done? I would like to make a stealth type setup. Even making something for the rear deck lid would be fun I think. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions, anything? Thanks, I really appreciate it. [Smile]

I have put further thought into my plan.

I will be using an old Art Series 300.2 for this project. IIRC, it will put out 300+ watts at 4ohms bridged. I would really like to pair it up with a DD 1008, which is a SVC 4ohm sub. I still want to do the rear deck mount if it is possible. Suggestions? Ideas? Anybody?

I would also like to do it sealed if that is possible [Embarrassed]

all possible, rear deck option.....if the sub can physically fit there, what's holding you back from that? double front baffle the sub and screw that to the rear deck with A LOT of screws, then as you know for sure, seal it like a frog's *ss. if you want a sealed box, then just attach that to the baffle and you got what you wanted.

i'd recommend making a ported box of about .8 net cubic feet with a 12 square inch port 16" long, a 4" ID pvc tube 16" long is basically the same thing. by stuffing the vent, you have your sealed enclosure with as low an F3 as you can get with that sub, since it has a suspension fit for a ported box more than a small sealed box, low extension driver.
