I had just been told a little about a d200hc, an was wodering what anyone know about this amp. I've heard they're around $650, I was looking into an RF 800a2 at first, but if the d200hc is that much better and that close in price i would happily buy one.
Another thing, how much power is it supposed to push? I was thinking of running 2 RF punch dvc's bridged at 1ohm. Does that sound okay, or should I step-up to the powers? Thanks

I wouldn't recommend any of them amps for your application. The rockford will not or should not be run at 1 ohm and the same is with the mmats. If you want a 1 ohm stable mono amp, go for either the memphis or the crossfire. I know some people that can get you good deals on the crossfire 1000Ds.

Its not whether ou get knocked down. It's whether you get up again.

Not a fair comparison.

The MMATS amm is much more expensive than the RF.

The Punch 800a2 sells for $500-$600.

The 800a2 should do a little less power than the MMATS, but you could use a 1100a2 that would STOMP the MMATS for about $800 to $1000.

If you are going to play music all day at 1 ohm nominal the RF's will shut down.

If you are only going to burp one frequency around 40 to 50 hz, the imp. will be from 3 to 10 ohm and the RF's will do fine.

Another very important point is that RF is class A/B and mmatts is class D
