Hey right now I have 2 white art series PPI amps a A404 and a A600 I am running a MB Quart RSB215 component set off of the A404 and 2 JL Audio 12W3-D4's off of the A600.. I am thinking about upgrading my amps really soon and I was thinking if you guys had any suggestions..
And I don't think I'm not going to buy PPI or Rockford or kicker.

Hrm.......McIntosh, Blade, Xtant, USamps, and Monolith. PG maybe, but if you're not going with PPI/RF, you're probably not going with PG, Orion, and MTX or HiFonics and the like. I'd look into McIntosh, great for sound quality, none better. Bigger than a Geo , but so very cool . They offer from 30x2 to 300x1 to 100x4 to 100x6 to the true beasty 100x4/300x2 = $4000 or so. Not a scholar on Xtant, but I've heard very good stories from owners, except for some techinical problems, but not sure if that's install problems or equipment failure. Monolith is a rare find, but worth the search. Blade, received very high marks a while back.
Oh, I know, you don't want to go with PPI again, but what about their TubeDriver series? Supposed to be very nice and warm.

So, your looking into the high end amplifiers? Nak, Butler (tube driver), Milbert (tube), McIntosh (even makes me drool), or the old school orion 225HCCA (not the r or the flip top deal, the ORIGINAL 225). Nak's run from 50X2(pa502) to 50X6(pa506) and a 100X2(pa1002) all have excellent s/n ratings, over 103dB, and all have at least 4-6dB of headroom (most people dont even think of headroom anymore). Butlers sound awesome. Milberts 30X2 is one foine piece of equipment, and what needs to be said about the Mc's.

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

If you're going to go with 6 channels, I'd just go with the 6 channel beasty from McIntosh if you're looking for 100x6 or that ballpark.
Audiophyle, please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't PPI buy Butler's Tube Driver? Either way, that'd be extremely sweet to have a tube-amp in the car . Him be right about the original HCCA225, oh my god is that little red amp godly !!
Milbert, now there's a name for you Very nice.

one of my good friends has one of those little red orion HCCA225's.
I'm sure I could get it from him really cheap.. the kid doesn't know anything about the amp. it just sits in the box in his room.. he wants to get a system some day. it and a couple of head units or something was given to him by his cousin or something.
what are the specs of that amp??

I just need some really nice power to run my subs and my component amp. I was thinking about 2 amps about 400 Watts for my component set and maybe around 800 watts for my subs
