Hi, right now I have a pair of crappy 2 way Jensen 6x9's (XS 6921Cx) They sound pretty good considering I only paid 50$ Canadien for the pair. The only major problem with thees speakers is that they play notes in the range of about 100-120hz way to loud in relation to the rest of the music. I'm looking for a new set of 6x9's that will play all the notes fairly equally or that perhaps have a boost at 45 or 50hz. I was thinking of a set of Rockford's 3 way 6x9's or maby some JL's. Can anyone reccoment any great 6x9's?

hmmm if your going to get 6x9's again "ick"
your not going to find one that you are happy with. Why you may ask? well a speaker isnt meant to play everything. The 3-way 6x9's take a shot at it, but IMO you would be much better off with just getting some mids/high maybe a set of fanatic Q's and then you are on your way to a decent system.
ALthough if you must get another set of 6x9's I would go with Fosgate!

Opinions......ah the thread of life

I like all three of the brands mentioned above, but prefer the Infinity Kappa the most. I've never had any bad luck with Infinity Kappa's lines of speakers, haven't tried their subs, yet!!

Good luck dude

That van I seen at USAC finals in KC in 1998 and also at Midwest Regionals. It has 69 6x9's.. It had like 3 in each door and one for a center channel and then all that you see. It did like a low 150 at finals..It was sitting near the Audiocontrol booth and they supposidly put a meter to it.....Hmm..I like different but what woofer class would that be? lol...is there a 0 woofer class?

Was it a pic of the 69 6x9's vehicle?
I saw that a usac finals myself.

I thought I shot Bart in the ___ but there
he is again.

If I do the 6x9's I don't know how many I'll
do but I was thinking maybe Boss for the
brand

What?! Not going for the ultra-classy and extremely high-end Pyramid or Legacy 6x9s?!

Might want to look at Pyle, not sure if they are a lateral step from Boss or not. Also, go to Parts Express, I think they have a few other cheapy 6x9s.

Eghads, what me talking about.....this is Tech, him already know this stuff....*sigh*

How about 138 6x9s? It'd be like Bill & Ted echoing each other....."If you're us, and we're you...then what number are we thinking of right now?"....."69 dude!!" *air guitar*

Sorry, sick and twisted and bored outa my mind at work

I've already done some abuse experiments
on Boss and I like the price I can get.
Similar to pyramid and legacy but tougher
and sound better to me.
Ehgads back at you, I thought all the crap
going on over here would have stopped me
in my tracks but I've bought a drill press
for construction work on the custom amp,
I've done some testing for the wall O 6x9's
idea and I ported my current wall for the
ever lasting search for more DB. Just hang
on, if my time and money ever free's up
I may be really getten some stuff done!
