I will have 2 RF 15" dvc in a ported box with the 800a2 (maybe the 1100a2) powering them both, and the fantic Q's ran by a 250a2 and the RF head deck. do i need to spend $700+ dollars on this? i want to compete, but not spend more than $3000. Is this neccessary? or worth it? the main point of me getting the system is for better sound, then spl.
thanx!!!

I live buy my Audiocontrol EQ-X. It is a bit much though to use. If you are not looking for the x-over then they make the EQL same thing but with out the x-over. There are a lot of great EQ's out there from other companies. Go out add see what is ofered in your area though. An EQ will give you much more flexability in the sound of you system other then Bass and Treble control. From these two basic signal processor it only gets better and bigger.

An x-over is a cross over. Explanation- send low freq. to your sub amps. hi freq. to you hi rang amps and some have full and band pass out puts to. The EQX and EQL are modle names from AudioControl. EQX is a Equlizer and a cross-over in one. It takes the signal in then puts it through the EQ sircut then divides that signal in to the diferent out put canle. IE low pass, band pass, high pass.... An EQL is the same as obove but the L stand for in line. On set of inputs and one set of out puts no cross-over. Dose that help?
