I am looking for help with this. I am looking for an Amp and 2 or 3 subs (12's or 15's). I would like to do 130-140db range. These will go into into a Sundance. It is a hatch back but it is setup more like a regular car with a trunk. But the back deck is removable when needed. Also I listen to metal and industral music alot and it seems like alot of subs drag out fast beats.(Like double base). Any help would be great. I have been considering Earthquake, MTX, And RF. But i am very open to anyand all brands. Cause i have no idea about these things thanks.

check out JL's w0 series, maybe hook up 3 12w0's 8ohms., you can easily hit the db range you are looking at,
smooth subs for the $$.

When I auditioned the W0s on metal I was thoroghly impressed!! I used to run 2 RF Series 1 10s in a bp box, these outdid them, but technology changed too . Any one of those 3 brands will do nicely. As far as MTX, I would look at the 5K or BT, the 3K is ok, but not quite beefy enough for serious pounding. As for RF, take your pick.

W3s rock too, but are more expensive. The W0s should do you fine .

Crutchfield has jbl gt 10,12,and 15 subs on sale, cheap. Get 2 12's (8 ohm) and a decent amp. Profile calif. amps are cheap and put out good power. The also have a clarion sub amp on sale cheap. You can get a shop to make you a box (sealed) firing towards the rear glass for about $150. For under 400 dollars you can get about into the low 130's and have good sq. Oh yeah, don't buy the decade series jbl...they have 5 ohm voice coils and that sucks.
