i have three 10w6's
iwould like to use the sparetirewell
as part of the box."would like 3 cuft"
also iwould like to run ports or port
i wasthinking a 6"-24"portout the top of the box."lack of room on face of box due to lack of width"
the subs fire into the car through the back seat."when seats are down"

Well you can fill the fiberglassed part with water, sand, or styrofoam shells to estimate the volume it has.

I like to use styrofoam peanuts also. Fill up the well and then put them into a regular rectangular box to figure the space they took up.

You could also put a temporary baffle on the well with a single woofer. Use a voltmeter across a load resistor and play test tones to find the frequency with the lowest developed voltage. This will be at the Fc of that woofer in that box. Using the woofer parameters and the measured Fc you can work backwards to get the airspace. Simple

In my well, I actually filled an air tight cubic foot box with water, then poured it into my well, then did it again, then partially again to completely fill it. On the third fill, I had a little of half of the water left in the box, so, I have a spare well of about 2.45 square feet, wet! Anyway, I then drilled a small hole in the bottom of the well and let her drain.

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

just ordered ppi pc 1800 for the three 10W6's

any other ideas for theses tens that might work better than what i can planned,
let me know
i was told by the shop i should hit 150 db
with this

ok try this ,i was thinking of running 6 10W6's.now heres were i'm having trouble,
when you run more subs to an amp is it less power per sub ?
should i just buy another PPI PC 1800?
how do you think that would do?

All I can say is that I know a guy with 6 15w6's ibn the back seat of a Grand prix powered by PPI amps and hes hitting 150 on the dot, hope that helps.
