I HAD CONNECTED A 4CH AMP CLARION TO MY 4 SPEAKERS, 2 FRONT AND 2 REAR. 2CH(ALPINE) AMP TO MY SUBWOOFER USING 1 BATTERY (+) TO MY BOTH AMP , WHY THE 2CH AMP GET VERY HOT WHEN I ON THE SYSTEM.IS THIS NORMAL?

how high are the gains?

does the amp ever actually cut out?

both amps , i ground it to the car body.the gain i set it to the maximum and the amp power is
45w x 2.

The power didn't cut off during operation,it only get very hot when i on it.

Well setting the gain to maximum could be a problem, also what impedence are the speakers that are running off the amp that is getting hot? If you are running the amp at a low impedence and have the gains set high, it will defenitely get hot.

MY AMP IS ALPINE 45W X 2 ,4OHMS AND MY SUBWOOFER IS 4OHMS ALSO.NEVER CUT-OFF WHEN RUNNING.

well if your gains are on full,
and it is only 45W RMS x 2...

I'd say your obviously driving the amp too hard.
the amp is going to produce heat as a by product of power, it is obviously continuously trying to produce as much as it can..

Suggestion use a bigger amp..
That way you won't have to run it as hard.

45W RMS x 2 = in theory 180W RMS...
whether the amp produces that or more at 12Volts is another thing...
Not knowing what your sub is or the set up.
you might just be trying to get to much for what you actually have...
