Well what about monster class? Could these be used as amps in the monster class? Boy that would be cool! 2 JackHammer Mtx 22 inch subs and 4 Drag Kings!!! Can you say good bye Windsheild!!!! [Big Grin] But by the looks of the new Drag King 2 The batteries are seprite and it says is capeable of playing music as well as tones. What I like is .1/8 of a ohm stable [Big Grin] Load that bad boy up!
I remember world finals 1999 I think it was someone actually had a drag queen. Man it looked awesome!!!
But monster class would be nice to see some of these go to work. Not trying to prove a point but I believe with some of the crazy people out there, there could be a wicked combo to break the 180+ Db mark. I still want to see the day someone breaks 200 DB!!! Man that would be so awesome!!!!

Now on a diffrent subject..talking about world finals 1999.... What ever happened to that big cube van that had that 60 some inch MTX sub in it? That was just sick! Never heard it play but damn it was huge! Still got video. I bet 10 hz never hurt so bad! haha:D

I missed the fact of this though... Maybe the drag queen and King were banned because of the buyers market via Wayne Harris. Think about it. You buy a amp that needs no extra battery power and really limits you to 1-4 amps in a large install. Well this would kinda void having to buy MULIT Dozens of others amps and batteries and Alts ect. everyone would own the same thing. 1 alt 1-4 amps of the same make and a radio. None of this 40 amps 12 alts 50 batteries ect ect. So in ones opinon that amplifier could of hurt the market for normal car audio comp equipment? So it was maybe banned for political reasons as well?
Im not dissing any way toward Wayne. Just a thaught. It was for the best intrests of db draggers and supporting companys alike?

Jason

you could probably use the drag amps in SS classes as well where battery count is unlimited. maybe even the no wall class as well.

Ok - so I'm a nooB to this discussion. I know my amps are not illegal (I know this only because others use the same amps). So I now know that an amp of which only 4 or 5 were made is illegal. And I know that a "square wave amp" is illegal. I have no clue what that means - nor do I care.

What I want to know is - what other amps are illegal? I'm really curious about this. With the onset of more and more 5KW and 10KW and 20KW amps coming on the market - I am curious what is or isnt illegal.

I think it would be legal for bass race but if they can't play music then they wouldn't do very well.
