maybe dbdrag will be better off, maybe it won't... we will only find out if it is for the better in 10 months...
the real points you guys should be looking at is this: 1)the people who want to go to finals, will be going to finals 2)some people will be driving more, boohoo, complain all you want, you are talking to a wall when i see you mentioning this. 3)i think it is good for a world finals relocation, this will give a chance for others' to be closer, there are some semi untapped markets such as canada, maybe some northern states to want to be a part of it, and more people can be at world finals. what would all this mean? BIG PAYOUT, hell 200+ competitors there you might have a $2000,1000,500 payout for first through 3rd... having a good payout like that would be FREAKIN AWESOME!!!
As far as all this working for the best, we haven't reached that point, but alot has been done to improve the dbdrag situation and this should be a step in the right direction.

I am glad someone realizes the work that took. I hope this puts things into perspective for everyone, that for years you might not have had the long haul but someone did. And now you might have long haul but someone does not have the long haul. As you can see the average is with in an hour of driving between the two locations. I hope this will make people stop bitching and crying about they have to drive farther. This post is not directed towards anyone.

According to mapquest, going to Cleveland instad of Nashville would be 1184 more miles round trip. That's a BIG difference, I don't care who you are.
BTW: Tim, not trying to jump on you. Just pointing out what I found. Don't want to come across as an a$$.
Finals is 2325 miles from us in so cal now but we are all excited about finals this year. I think there will be alot of cars from Cali going to finals this year. If we can make it anyone can. Just think of all the fun you will have at finals at you will realize that it is worth it. I think this years finals will be the best year, more cars, louder cars, and a new environment to party in. This year is going to be great

Well, It's been a fun four years and a fun three year trip to Nashville. Hope everyone has a great season and a safe trip to the new location. Cleveland, Ohio America. I'm sure it will be great and hope it is for the better, but with it moved further away I'm going to have to say good bye to DbDragracing and hello USAC. Kansas City is a lot closer and more my budget. But I do have three seasons that I was part of DbDraging Finals and that is something no one can take from me. But I'm not sponsored so I still have to buy my equipment and then turn around and pay more for gas and extra nights in a hotel. Not going to happen. My pockets are not that deep. In fact they are really shallow. So with this said I hope to see some of you all around in my neck of the woods in Oklahoma City, OK.
I'm not trying to sound like I'm B'ching because I'm not. I just know what I can afford and this will not be in my pocket book. If it was not for DbDragacing I would not have meet the wonderful people that share the same LOVE for cars and car audio as I do.
Just to name one of the greatest Legends of DbDrags, Micheal Hughes who my daughter ask for all the time! Just last night she wanted to stay and work with him instead of going home with Daddy!!! Man did that hurt......lol!!!!
I'm sure DbDrags will not hurt with out me there. I know many people will still make the trip. So again come FINAL time hope everyone will have a SAFE trip to Ohio.
God Bless!!!

I'am going to have to say yea it was fun I got to make it two years in a roll to Nashville and got to take my own ride to finals in 04. I going to have to say that Team PVL found something new for this year and pretty sure that it will b just as fun as dbdrag but I'am with Mezkin on this one I don't see myself making that long trip.I will still hit the shows around my parts but won't leave the state inless its for USAC.Good luck to all this year and the years to come
