i might be stuip but what does it mean the it can have a wall but not be conecetd to the roof or sides? can you have panels around the box just not molded in or does it mean you must be able to look down the top and sides of the box?im looking to start on my car real soon but i need to know what i can do thanks

From what I've read on here from Mr. Harris: You can have cosmetic "trim" panels around the enclosure. However the enclosure is not to reinforce the vehicle.
My concern - how about expanding foam and such? Is this considered "connecting"? Or is the new rule regarding "bolting / fastening"?

i agree what about exspanding at top of enclosure but not at sides ,and also about trim panels glued to interior panle with liquid nail but screwed to box securly ,with bondo coveriing all screws to look purty ,,,,,,,

My interpitation is the box must have space around the top and sides, i would also think the trim panel must be removable to prove compliance. no foam on top and sides
