Thanks guys! I'll have some more pics when I get home today.
I'm finding that building this monster is more fun than I thought. Almost to the point that I wish there wasn't a show this weekend so I could get some more work in on it.
I'm going this weekend before the show to pickup a large quantity of concrete and a stack of metal.
Anyone know of a really cheap place to get large quantities of resin for cheap? (I'm paying around $130 per 5 gal.) I'm need to fill the roof, doors, and around the box with resin/sand instead of concrete, so it'll take a pretty good amount. Unless I get the fiber re-enforced 'crete, then I don't think I'll have to worry about it shrinking and crumbling.

Yea its fun to build until you find out how much everything it takes to finish it. You cant get the glass for what they are selling the whole thing for. Good luck either way looks good.
Build it yourself. There is no fun in buying someone else's loud car.
So if is not loud is ok to buy it?
So should loud vehicles just be thrown away after retiring?

You dont need concrete. You have heard mine. There was nothing inside the doors, roof, floor. It sounded like a nat frating.

Thanks. It'll be in Daytona in March for sure. I'm wanting to work on it right now but I have to get up in about 5 hours to drive to the show at La Vela. Need sleep.
More pics coming soon. I promise.

They aren't the closest to you so i don't know how bad freight would be but they sell 55gal drums. I haven't priced one in a couple of years, before the huge climb in pricing. back then they were around 5 or 6 hundred. Well worth it. Good luck & thanks for the pics.

I've been sick with some sort of mutant flu for the last week, so I am about a week behind where I need to be. By now I should have had the windshield and driver door framed in, the box frame welded in and the layering of the mdf started.
I am finally to a point where I can breathe again without hurting so I've been working on some small stuff while I recover, like relocating the floor shifter for the transfer case (4wd) At least if I ever need to shift it out of 4 wheel low for some reason, I can access the shifter though the gas and brake access hole now.
prepping the doors for the bolt cups, and smoothing some welds over. I'll be getting back into it once the steel shop opens up on Monday and I can get some more steel. For the meantime, I've got a bunch of little things that need to be done though.

use 2x2 irontubs they are stronger, dont use concret will be bad for your frequence, use epoxcement58 dry very fast and is real hard, olver the 2x2tubs use playwood at list 60mm ,extreme car need to have same materials all arold(floor, celing, walls)that way you save money and get to the point!take a look at same pictures off cris norris van at the begining the build will be good for you,my best off luck for you and keep post pictures ,we like to see new extreme cars be build!alan dante team brazil
