Tore the whole back end of the truck apart in about 2 and a half hours. Its amazing how fast you work when you think your **** is about to catch on fire.
Anyways guys, I hope that everyone will stop and think about their towing practices. I hope this will open your eyes to what is really going on. DO NOT tow things under unsafe conditions like so many people do, half-ton trucks and dual 3500lb axles under a superstreet car just wont cut it.

wish I would have been there to help out with the luv when Mike called and told Me ,I said I didnt care about anything besides everyone being alright and not getting hurt. We can replace equipment or rebuild whatever we need to , but we cant replace our good freinds.

I'm with you on that one leallen! I'm just glad we're all ok...The truck will be fine, it needed to be torn down anyways, just a little sooner, and faster than we wanted it to be. Not to mention colder, and that whole awak for 24 hours thing...

some of our guys rolled the extreme van(John and Kara's old one) off the trailer last year without the ramps,,,thing just bounced and rolled on off,,didnt hurt anything.
I was joking that the Subaru would be empty today.....looks like you you guys beat me to it

WOW! And I thought it was bad driving home with the window broken out of our truck. Could have been an even longer weekend I see!
So glad everyone is okay...I hope everyone else that's still on the road makes the rest of their trip uneventful. I know Mike Bartells had a 12 hour leg of his trip planned for today and after the incident on the way TO KC does not need anything to happen on the way home. Tommy and Kandi said they had a 24 hour trip to make back to Florida so I hope all goes well.

wow - Im sitting here saying holy crap to myself when I read the "holy crap" post.
No one being hurt is one thing to be thankful for - now the long road of rebuilding and then finding the right rig to haul it on for future outings. I sure hope this doesnt prevent ya from coming back bigger, better and louder than ever. Well - maybe not so loud - some of us NOOB's would like a chance now as well. Ok - make it as loud - want to feel like I earned it when / if I ever get that loud. Heck - I gotta break 145 first.

just got off the phone with danny and alli can say is holy crap and i hope his girlfriend is ok ..danny anything i can do let me no.and thank god noone got hurt real bad.. brings back memories of when i got rearended in daytona back a few years ago...sent the festiva off the front.. breakng both tiedown straps thankgod for the safty chain or the car would of hit the truck..im sure a few of you remeber that one.. goodluck everyone

Shew man! Brings back bad memories of my accident on the way to NOPI in 2001! Make sure you guys carry adequate liabilty insurance,because if god forbid you do have an accident and are exceeding the GVRW of your vehicle and or trailer a lawyer will clean your bank account out.
