with classes like 1-10, 11-20, and 21 and up, whatever it is it doesnt seem like the classes are layed out too well. theres only so many ways it can work out, 1-10hz, 1-10subs, so on and so on.

I bet it has something to do with large numbers of woofers. Remember back in the day the only way we thought we could get loud was by cramming 100 10" subs in small sealed boxes in a vehicle? Looked impressive, but obvioulsy we found better ways to get loudest. Put two vehicles in a show, one hitting 165 with 4 15s and another hitting 155 with 100 10s, Joe Schmoe's gonna remember that vehicle with the 100 10s before the 4 15s.

My guess it's number of subs for type of number posted for meter in or nearthe port. Just a guess.
