there will be a 3x dbdrag,3x nspl and a 3x mecca in roanoke rapids,nc on dec 17.this is nspl and dbdrag country.hoping to see them guys from md.va.nc.sc. and any state that i may have missed.alan d. is going to try to do a 179 db in ext.1 class i'm told.hopfully devino let's loose that sm 3-4 van. ryan from BMS sc.will try for ss 1-2 record.and i know terry brock will be there from md.should be a great show.let us know if you are planning on attending.lol jeff

hell man i do 7 hours on my own when i drive to maryland from rhode island it should be cake to do 6 hours for you and it would be i think 11-14 for me to get to the rr show ..thats if i come back in 2007.

Tips on stayin awake when taking long trips.
1. Never eat heavy before you take the trip. and when you do eat make sure it's a light meal after 3 or 4 hrs into the trip. 2. Buy some chewing gum.Gum keeps your jaw movin of which can keep you awake.Soda can also help. 3. Coffee is good but I'd prefer those stay awake pills,vivarin etc.(2 tablets every 3hr works for me)too much coffee can be a mess or keep ya at rests stops too often. 4. If 1-3 doesn't work and you're one step from drivin in a ditch,get to a rest stop and take at least an hour sleep. you'll be suprised what an hour of sleep can do.
