Our Street A car "Topsound Team" from Malta did a 155.4db with 1 12" and 2 Orion amps. Taken 1st. James and Noel Delia, I am so proud of you guys. Especially thanks to you Christof for your help. We are very proud to be members of the loudest sub in the world. CACTUS SOUNDS!!!!!! and that's not all for now. We need to upgrade the amps and the battrey to be more louder. The battrey was going down to 9v.

I'm just curious which Orion amps? If they did that with two HCCA-D2400's, 1200 watts per amp, WOW That's the biggest Strappable class D orion makes right now. Also to that must be one weak battery to hit 9V with 2400 watts peak power comming off of it. You guys have a lot of room for improvement if that's the case.

Please tell me we can start strapping "non strappable" amps.. PLEASE PLEASE tell me it's ok.
I'm not trying to take anything away from these guys... I'm just in the process of deciding which amps to buy for this season and if we can start strapping all mono block amps it opens up some doors as far as which amps to run.

I'm not trying to take anything away from these guys... I'm just in the process of deciding which amps to buy for this season and if we can start strapping all mono block amps it opens up some doors as far as which amps to run.
They were externally bridged, try them out. We didn't opened neither one of them. The Battrey is a little bit old not for the 2 years from purchase but with hundreds of tests and some comps. That's why it went down to 9v. The burp was for only 1 sec, the amps went on protection.

I'm not debating the amplifier you used. Also I'm not debating it was externally bridged, but it just says on Orion's web page the amps are not bridgable with one another... this must be a misprint because I see there is a Master/Slave switch on the amp now that I've seen pictures of it; also a phase switch. And it looks like a good board capable of a good amount of power on 12V. It's good to know Orion has decided to make their big amp strappable for 06/07. Looks like Orion stepped up their amp game!
