Why not? Aren't vehicles supposed to be open at finals anyways?

There isnt a rule that says vehicle must be open. If someone doesnt want pics of their stuff shown everyone should respect that.

Nope, I don't. Actually you have it backwards. If you are a manufacturer, then wouldn't you want to expose your product to as many people as possible? This "secrets" mentality never benefits anyone in the end.
I can understand having a competitive advantage, but isn't that gone if you let someone look at the vehicle anyways?
It's like you are saying, you can come to my band's concert, but you can't listen to our songs on a cd...

if I back guys with product support, and they work long and hard to get their cars up in numbers, much less world finals, where does it open the book to say I have the right to share their hard work with everyone? Respect between me and my team, if they don't mind, I will...most, don't want that info shared, which I respect, and do not. I have some guys even in the same class, I wish them the best, but I don't share what the other is doing.
A CD and concert is open to the public, and for sale...what a man builds on his own time in his garage, is not.

I totally agree with Polecat.
Second, Kicker DID expose thier product at finals. Kicker does not manufactor a CRX enclosure tuned to 60 Hz that I am aware of, that is the competitor's creation.
I suggest you either a) get over it, or b) go to finals and see these so-called 'secrets' first hand.
