Don't ever let the hatch of your crx fall on you, the hydralics on mine don't work and this is the second time it's got me. I think the next thing to fix is the hatch shocks, I'll let the pictures explain. ( Sorry for the pics being so big ) It happened Wednesday and still hurts, I might have broke it.

Been there. You need to poke that nail with a hot needle to relieve the pressure from the blood behind it, or else you'll loose the nail for sure.
Then you're stuck with nubbin' finger for about 2 months until you have a nail again.
I've quit counting how many people (including myself) I've seen get whacked by the rear hatch of a CRX.

That nail will probably fall off in a week or two seeing as how it looks like you hit it right at the bottom, my toe nail is currently growing back because a sheet of mdf decided to fall on it

I haven't fixed it yet, the car still needs some work, but getting the hatch fixed is #1 on the list of things to do. You can't really tell from the picture, but the black part bellow the nail, under the skin is bubbled up.

Yeah...reminds me of when I first got my rex and was leaning over into the hatch and got hit in the back Hard . Lets just say never again. Shop around..I got both my struts for $40 plus tax from advance auto parts)

i got hit in the face/nose by the hatch falling when i was throwing in the very first box i tested in the rex..it hurt like hell..
