Here is the email I got from Ralph concerning the entry fee for the dB Drag Racing part of Usaci World Finals in Kansas City -

So, if you preregister for dB Drag only it is $125
if your already doing a Usaci class then when you preregister its $75
if you show up the day of the show and want to do dB Drag only it is $175
if you show up the day of the show ( and your already doing a Usaci class ) and want to add dB Drag then its $125
so I would suggest you call the Usaci office at 1-479-750-0505 at your earliest convience and get preregistered. The office is really busy at this time preparing for Usaci World Finals so you might not get through the first time ( or the second time ... or third ... ). I asked Ralph if he was busy and he said, " I"m doing Phoenix, Tuner Jam, Illinois regional, KC every other day for meetings, World Finals, invites, registration, and oh yea, registering people for dB Drag .. ".
Now, what all do you get for that entry fee?

Car Show
Hydrolic Hop Off
Powerman 5000 has been signed to play
dB Drag Racing 3X ( with records to be set )

If you want to chip in I'll think about it. Kinda hard to miss more work after Drag Finals. You know if they paid out $ at drag Finals people might be able to afford to go to 2 world Finals in the same month. its not steve's decision, it is the fire marshall's. Cars cant leave the building because there will be spectators.

That sucks. Are there any cheap hotels near the convention center? I'm still broke from drag finals.

We all KNOW there is no payout at Finals. And we all still go. I wanted a payout when I started. We all did...... Cause there used to be one. Am I upset....NO. I simply said "IF" lol

We have our rooms at the Radisson, I think its like $75 a night. (you might talk to Amanda #1 and see if she can get another one if you need it) That rate (if it hasn't already) will change by a certain date before finals.....look on the usac forum Ralph has posts that talk about it.

This came from Ralph himself -
db drag racing $125 with parking ( this means you can park indoors ) db drag racing as a second event $75 late fee $50 extra day of show....
Trailer parking outside on the dock has always been $100 EXTRA.

Is it within drunk man walking distance, since my car will be on lock down for the 2 days we're there?
