I'm planning on trying to get together a couple 2x events in baton rouge at our shop. I am trying to see who would be interested in coming and if it would be worth the time and effort to put it together. One will probably be held on a saturday night towards the end of january, and the other during the day on a sunday at the end of february. Post here and let me know how many of you are interested and would likely attend if I can put this together. Thanks.

Both of these events would also be usaci single pointers if any of the guys here need points in both as I will probably run usaci and db drag this year.

matt how far is away from your shop compared to where MGN was, if you could have it like 2 weeks before/after Neils show that would work out PERFECT, OOOOOR if your shop isn't too far have it the saturday before his show on sunday! that would rock!

Ok sounds good guys, I'm actually working with Steve on some things now...we may have the 2x at the end of january, it will be on a saturday night, and then I may just do a usaci show the end of february, but have a 2x db drag the day before MGN's this way we could actually have a 5x weekend down here, and people would only really have to make one trip for a good bit of points and we get a big turnout at both events. I'll keep everyone posted.

Our shop is about 45 mins from where MGN will be this year since its in new orleans, it is about 25 mins from where it was last year in Gonzales.

cool that means I got get the car ready quick because 3rd place at these events aint gonna cut it. I'm gunnin for ya jeremy, Billy I might catch you eventually not so sure though.

Anything is possible with enough time and work but Im pulling the rabbit out of the hat or trailer to get to work on it this week.I dont think that jereme will be there so 2nd is good.

Billy, me and you gotta take 1st and 2nd this season. I think its possible if I can save up some money for some thicker glass and get some better amps. I'm going to try to be working out more details about these shows towards the end of this week. I have my last final at LSU friday night 8-10pm, so after that I'll see what I can get put together.

I just got done with finals at school on friday, then I partied all weekend, just now recooperating, besides the fact I've got to pay the sanctioning fee and I'm broke, the shows will be going on, I'll get more specifics later this week, and it probably wont be on the calendar until the end of this month if I can get the money together for the sanctioning fee. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.
